Product CodeCHM-GATES-40R3691
  • High-tensile aramid cord layer with specially-formulated adhesion gum maximizes acceleration, shock load resistance, and service life
  • Built with Gates® patented fiber-reinforced EE (ethyl elastomer) compound for maximum transverse stiffness and heat resistance
  • Designed to handle the rapid acceleration and high variable torque loads of next-generation high-performance platforms
  • Fabric cog jacket on rounded bottom cogs enables smooth shifting and higher abrasion resistance
  • 75% better dynamic axial stiffness and 50% lower speed losses from temperatures up to 338°F
  • Made without chlorinated compounds for reduced environmental impact
  • EU: 75% better dynamic axial stiffness and 50% lower speed losses from temperatures up to 170°C
  • Belt length is measured by OC (Outer Circumference).
  • Belt width is measured by top width.
  • Not for European Assembled vehicles
